Fantasy Owners Should Buy Low on Micheal Ryder

MORROW - RIBEIRO - RYDER
VINCOUR - BENN - ERIKSSON

To all of those in fantasy leagues who are looking for RW depth, consider Micheal Ryder. Ryder has been a solid depth contributor to deep fantasy leagues, especially considering his goal totals. Here are Ryder's stats from last season:

18 goals, 23 assists, -1, 26 PIMS, 14 Powerplay Points, 165 SOG, 70 Hits, 19 blocks.

These stats put him on the same fantasy tier as RW players Jordan Eberle (1 year leagues), Blake Wheeler, Brad Boyes and Joffery Lupul. However, Ryder played as a 3rd line RW in Boston last year, where he and Patrice Bergeron had the repsonsibility of playing against the leagues best lines.

This year, Ryder has started this season on the Dallas Stars top line, centred by Mike Ribeiro with Brendan Morrow on the LW. Ryder has looked faster and far more dangerous in this role. Expect a big year, with more Powerplay Points, Goals, Assists, but perhaps a lower +/-.
